Champions Festival

Central Kyiv gets a makeover as the UEFA Champions Festival comes to town from 24 to 27 May

GAMES FOR ALL

Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and final ambassador Andriy Shevchenko kick off Thursday’s #EqualGame tournament featuring teams from the Homeless World Cup. Former Brazil captain Cafu is also involved and fans are invited to get in on the action during daily free-play sessions.

TROPHY SHOT

Have your picture taken with the UEFA Champions League trophy, which arrives for the official festival opening on Thursday morning. Fans have until noon on Saturday to get their snap with club football’s greatest prize before it makes its journey to the stadium.

CHAMPIONS GALLERY

A special photography exhibition, the Champions Gallery, recalls the history of the UEFA Champions League. There will also be photos of Ukrainian football greats, a wall dedicated to the #EqualGame campaign and signed pictures of stars from UEFA Women’s Champions League history.

ULTIMATE CHAMPIONS MATCH

One of the annual festival highlights is the Ultimate Champions match, which takes place at 16:00 on Friday, involving some of the competition’s most legendary former players. The pitch will also stage the adidas Young Champions match and showcase grassroots football. 

HIGH NOTES

Ukraine’s premier hip-hop group, TNMK, get the party started on the main stage on Thursday night, before leading DJs Hardwell and Omnia top the bill on the following evenings.
